Abstract

This paper examines the implementation of responsible tourism in South Africa and Kumarakom in Kerala and considers various operational and management issues in these two destinations. The discussion in this paper draws upon the wider CSR and responsible tourism literature as well as analysis of secondary sources and policy documents of South African and Kerala tourism.
