Abstract

This event was organised by Judy Batalion, comedy writer and post-doctoral feminist art historian, on her 3 month writing residency at the Women's Art Library/Make collection. The event included the performance of an extract from the script “CNN Special Report: The Fighting Feminists” which she began during her residency. The performers are Caroline Smith, playing Sherrie Levine, artist and Jolan Bogdan, playing Janet Townhouse, reporter. This extract was recently published in The Moon, (CT Editions 2009) edited by Oriana Fox and Charlotte Troy to accompany the performance event “Once More With Feeling”.
