Abstract

In relation to governance, sustainability and contemporary boards explores the changing business context, stakeholder relationships, the role of independent directors, remuneration and other committees, corporate purpose, and widening board perspectives in order to reconcile different perspectives and address sustainability concerns. Raises questions in these areas and in relation to determining what to sustain, reviewing contemporary approaches and understanding their consequences, relevance considerations and possible future scenarios.
