Abstract

Chapter commissioned by the Municipal Services Project and on Lobina's (2013) remediable institutional alignment. Contrary to the mainstream literature on corporatization and its inability to distinguish between different forms of corporatization, the book chapter distinguishes between weak and strong forms of corporatization. It does so in light of the arms’ length distance between managers and public owners.
